How do I select my state?
As New
The item has never been used. It is in pristine condition, with no signs of use, no marks, and no tears. You will receive a brand-new product.
In excellent condition
The product has been used very little and is in impeccable condition. The material is beautiful, sturdy, and flawless. There may be some subtle signs of use, but these do not affect its functionality in any way.
Good condition:
The item is in good overall condition. However, it may show visible signs of wear, such as loss of elasticity, scuff marks, stains, pilling, or scratches. Some hardware (buckles, carabiners) may show signs of oxidation. The item has been cleaned and disinfected and remains fully functional.
Condition: Worn:
A used item with significant signs of wear. The material is less plump, less uniform, and may have defects such as snags, holes, or heavy wear. Metal parts may be more oxidized (rusty). Despite its history, it remains usable for less demanding applications.

Condition your new leather items to make them supple and comfortable! You'll also provide long-lasting protection against stains and make them more tear-resistant.
Extend the life of the leather items you love! Your oldest, thickest, driest, or most shriveled leather items will be restored to their former beauty and elegance.
Our Tips
New leather: Apply SAPO Pied de Bœuf Quality Oil to each item in successive layers, waiting 24 hours between applications, until the leather reaches the desired suppleness. Do not apply more than 4 coats, as the leather may become brittle and spongy. Light-colored leathers will darken when the oil is applied. Once the desired color is achieved, use a care product such as SAPO Multi-Leather Balm or SAPO Prestige Cream.
Aged leather: Soak the leather in lukewarm water for 20 seconds, then remove the dirt with a cloth. Apply SAPO Pied de Bœuf Leather Oil evenly with a brush. Let it dry for 24 hours. If the leather has become supple, continue care with SAPO glycerin soap, SAPO multi-leather balm, or SAPO nourishing cream. If the leather has not regained the desired suppleness, reapply a thin layer of Pied de Bœuf Quality Oil until the desired suppleness is achieved.
Routine maintenance: once every 2 months
