WHY AND HOW DOES IT WORK?

 

L’argile bentonite possède une structure bien particulière : les plans d’atomes forment des couches qui forment à leurs tours des feuillets. Cette structure en feuillets est des plus importante car c’est elle qui lui confère ses trois grandes propriétés reconnues:

• The ability to absorb fluids: It has an astonishing ability to absorb interstitial inflammatory fluids (inflammation of muscles and tendons), as well as secretions produced by wounds.
• Strong adsorption capacity: it attracts toxins and microbes. Adsorption is a physicochemical phenomenon. Bentonite clay is loaded with positive ions that can be exchanged with ions from another medium. It acts like a magnet, absorbing and binding a large number of toxins while releasing beneficial minerals.
• Remarkable astringent properties: that is, it tightens the tissues through its contracting action.

It stimulates blood and lymphatic circulation.

Rich in aluminum silicate (a natural healing agent), it helps with tissue regeneration and wound healing.

Gentle kaolinite gently cares for sensitive skin.

Apply a thick first coat against the grain, then a second coat with the grain.

Let it air dry for best results.

Remove the poultice using a damp sponge or by rinsing it off directly under running water.

May be removed up to 24 hours after application.

Can be used on the entire body except for mucous membranes.

Do not handle with a metal object.

L'action de ce cataplasme s’effectue en 4 phases :

- 0 to 10 min: cooling effect

- 10 to 30 minutes: interaction between the inflamed area and the clay

- 30 to 90 min: binding of toxins in the clay

- After 90 minutes: astringent effect
